19 June 2025, University of Pisa (IT) – Second National Seminar PRIN 2022 PNRRP2022837KN “Humanistic Italy and sixteenth-century Muscovy in dialogue. Digitization anddigital mapping of the work of Maximus the Greek”

The second national seminar of the MaximHum project working group was held
in Pisa on 19 June. The guest speakers and discussants were Marcello Garzaniti (previously at the
University of Florence), Querciolo Mazzonis (University of Teramo), and David Speranzi (BNCF).
The progress of the project was presented by Francesca Romoli for the Pisa Unit, Maria Chiara
Ferro for the Chieti-Pescara Unit, Alberto Alberti for the Bologna Unit, and Angelo Mario Del
Grosso (CNR-ILC, Pisa) for the IT section. The research fellows and PhD students presented case
studies, each relating to the research conducted in their respective units. Marco Biasio, Alessandro
Goffi, Carlo Inserra, and Teresa Lombardi spoke on behalf of the Pisa Unit, while Natalia Guseva
and Beatrice Bindi spoke on behalf of the Chieti-Pescara Unit.
